Awards celebrate 30 years of Young Enterprise
Auckland team's recycled coffee grounds soap takes the top prize.

The team's company offered hand made soap from recycled Fairtrade coffee grounds.
St Thomas of Canterbury College's Ace took second prize with its concept for The Lion emergency generator to help earthquake victims. In third place was Le Lunch from St Cuthberts College with ecofriendly lunch bags with a 'snap band' to fit the bag to the size of the lunch.
Broadcaster Mike McRoberts, an alumnus of the scheme, MCd the event while another alumnus, Seeby Woodhouse of Voyager Internet, was a presenter.
Other awards went to MoeMoea Records from QUeens and Kings High Schools in Otago (Maori Business) and Opotiki College's Tri Health won the Ministry of Youth Development Award for Commitment.
The competition is made up of teams of 16-18 year olds who operate real companies. Mentors from a range of industries help students hone their skills.
